Why we do not publish a price list
Because a published number would be wrong for most houses. "Gutter guard" covers everything from a flimsy drop-in screen to a fastened aluminum hood installed by a roofing crew, and no two rooflines ask for the same work. A number honest for a one-story ranch with simple runs would mislead the owner of a cut-up two-story under mature oaks, in either direction. What we can tell you honestly is what decides the number, and how to think about the trade.
What drives your specific quote?
Three things, mostly: your total gutter footage, how many stories the crew has to stage and reach, and how complex your roofline is, meaning valleys, steep pitches, and corners. A single-story home with simple runs is at the low end of the effort; a tall, cut-up roofline is more. Panel choice plays in too, since concentrated water at valleys and steep sections calls for the High-Flow panel.
The math that matters more than the sticker
Gutter cleaning is a recurring cost: twice a year, every year, for as long as you own the home, whether you pay a service or spend your own Saturdays on a ladder. A solid hood is a one-time cost with a lifetime, transferable, no-clog warranty behind it. The honest comparison is not one number against another; it is a bill that never ends against a bill that ends. Under a real Omaha tree canopy, that structure is what decides whether guards are worth it for your house.
Why do national brands quote so differently?
Sales model, mostly. A national chain quote often starts with a long in-home presentation, and that model has costs which end up in the number. LeaFree® is made locally in Elkhorn and quoted by a local roofing crew with no four-hour pitch. See the head-to-head on our LeaFree vs LeafFilter page.
How do you get a real number?
Start a free quote or call us. It takes about a minute to begin, and you get a written number for your actual roofline from a local crew, not a pressure close. If you want to spread the cost, ask about financing when you talk to your estimator. No obligation, and no long presentation.
