How it works
Water sticks. Leaves do not.
Rainwater clings to the curved aluminum hood through surface tension, wraps the nose-forward edge, and flows into your gutter through openings about a half inch wide. Leaves, seeds, and needles have no adhesion, so they ride past the edge and fall to the ground. That is the whole trick, and it is why a solid hood keeps working where mesh mats over.

The nose-forward cover
The nose-forward cover extends beyond the gutter lip, allowing water to follow the hood curve and flow into the gutter, effectively washing away leaves and debris.

Two panels. Every roof covered.
LeaFree Regular is the low-profile hood for most homes: it blends the gutter line with your shingles and hides the flashing.
LeaFree High-Flow adds pill-shaped vents for concentrated water: roof valleys, steep pitches, metal roofs, and first-story gutters that catch a second-story downspout.
Both are .024-gauge recycled aluminum in 4-foot interlocking panels, rated for 12 inches of rain per hour. For reference, the average hurricane drops less than 1 inch of rain per hour.
Installed the roofer's way.
Panels slide under your first row of shingles and screw to the gutter lip with stainless steel zip screws. Nothing penetrates your roof deck or fascia, nothing voids your shingle warranty, and the interlocking panels expand and contract with Nebraska's temperature swings. Pre-made inside miters with built-in splash guards handle the corners, and end caps close the system to birds and squirrels.
